Technology increasingly affects our lives and has a significant impact on survivors. Emerging technologies and the ways in which abusers misuse technology pose a challenge for professionals working with survivors. In this webinar, we will explore how common technologies are misused and how to gather that evidence. We will also discuss the legal framework for authenticating and admitting digital evidence in court proceedings. Strategies for participating in virtual court hearings will also be discussed. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to gather and admit digital evidence and be prepared for remote hearings.

After this training, participants will be able to:
1. Identify and assist clients with the documentation of digital evidence.
2. Authenticate digital evidence in court proceedings.
