Join the NYC Anti Violence Project, Girls for Gender Equity, and the Center for Anti Violence Education on Wednesday April 27th, from 6:00PM-7:30pm for their event, Supporting Survivors Outside of Policing, in honor of Sexual Violence Awareness Month. This gathering will feature a panel of organizers, trainers and advocates to talk about ways to support survivors of sexual violence outside of law enforcement and police. Panelists will highlight how we can support vulnerable communities through social services, education and restorative and transformative justice; and removing cops as first responders.
