Jonel Beauvais, formerly of Seven Dancers Coalition, will facilitate how her experience as a circle keeper and witness to another woman’s story of survival of intimate partner violence created a transformative experience for that survivor. Jonel will discuss how she facilitated a sacred circle that included the supportive presence of men from the community who earlier in their lives, caused harm to women, and are now 100% committed to a healing path in support and respect for women’s power. This ceremonial experience of the men working with Jonel to honor the survivor, was transformatively healing and yielded surprisingly powerful results for all concerned. This workshop will discuss how this process unfolded and how we can all channel our creativity, spiritual presence and loving, protective energy for healing. And this presence can bring about amazing spiritual transformation and deep embodied healing for someone who is suffering with trauma and pain. All are welcome to attend.
Logistics
This event will be held via Zoom Meetings. Video participation is not required. The session will be recorded and distributed to those who register. Registrants will receive the meeting link by email.
