Join UsThe NYS Victim Assistance Academy relies upon talented professionals and academic faculty to teach and to review and update chapters in the extensive Textbook and Resource Manual each year.
In addition to up to five interdisciplinary teaching pairs who work with small groups every day throughout the week, instructors are invited to teach a sixty or ninety minute session or to participate on a panel in their area of expertise. Instructor fees are available. The NYSVAA provides room, board, and approved travel expenses, and instructors are invited to attend other sessions. Many dedicated providers contribute their efforts to develop this groundbreaking victim service education program. If you are interested in teaching or contributing to the Textbook or Resource Manual, you may nominate yourself or someone else, by completing the Instructor Nomination Form. If you can't participate this year but want to be considered in the future, we will keep your information on file. | ||||||||||||||||
